Terms of Use
Last updated 15 October 2026. Zim Verify is an independent platform run by Onismo Tech Lab — not a government website.
Using Zim Verify
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Not a government website
Zim Verify is independent. We are not part of, or endorsed by, the Government of Zimbabwe or any organisation listed in our directory. For official decisions, always contact the organisation directly through its official channels.
Checks and information are guidance
Website, company and phone checks, scam alerts, directory listings and AI assistant answers are based on public sources and automated tests. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A "no warnings found" result does not mean something is safe. Use your own judgement before sending money or personal details.
Reporting scams
- Only report things you honestly believe are scams. Don't submit false, abusive or defamatory reports.
- Don't include other people's private details, PINs, passwords or full account numbers. Cover them in screenshots before uploading.
- Only upload files you have the right to share.
- Every report is reviewed before it is published. We may edit, reject or remove any report.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it in bulk, bypass its security, or use the AI assistant for anything other than scam and online-safety questions.
Links to other websites
We link to official and news websites so you can check sources yourself. We're not responsible for their content.
Liability
We provide Zim Verify free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, Onismo Tech Lab is not liable for losses from relying on information on the site, including money lost to scams.
Corrections and takedowns
If you think an alert or listing is wrong or unfair, email onismotechlab@gmail.com with the link and the reason, and we'll review it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Privacy Policy.
